Stefanie D. Howell, Esq. joined the firm full time in 2009. She concentrates her practice in the areas of financial workouts, bankruptcy representation, state court receiverships and insolvency law. Stefanie’s participation in the bankruptcy arena includes representation of individuals and small business debtors in all Chapters of bankruptcy, representation of creditors in Chapter 11 and representation of Trustees and bankruptcy estates. Her experience includes litigation in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Rhode Island. She has additional legal experience in elder law and estate planning, which compliments her current asset protection work both in terms of knowledge and “bedside manner”. Stefanie will explore all options for debt relief available to a client and considers bankruptcy to be a last resort.

Stefanie is admitted to practice in the jurisdictions of the State of Rhode Island and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and before the United States District Court for the Districts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
