Thomas P. Quinn, Esq. brings a unique perspective to his practice of IRS and State tax resolution and bankruptcy law. As a former IRS collection officer, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of what it takes to resolve tax issues, at both a Federal and State level. Tom’s private practice has centered on the successful representation of clients in tax collection, audit and bankruptcy matters.

With experience from both sides, Tom possesses a dual expertise that allows him to work directly with the IRS and the State taxing authorities on behalf of his clients to promptly negotiate releases of liens, bank levies and wage garnishments, as well as preventing seizures.

Tom is a recognized expert in determining the dischargeability of taxes in bankruptcy, and has helped numerous clients navigate this complicated legal area. Having represented bankruptcy trustees in various asset recovery and discharge actions, Tom is also an experienced bankruptcy litigator.

Tom’s agility in successfully resolving tax and bankruptcy issues for his business and individual clients and his experience representing trustees has made him a leading expert in the bankruptcy and financial workout arena.
