Over the course of time, while running my various businesses and interacting with clients, I have had the opportunity to work with many service providers and professionals. I’m sure I’ve had the same experiences as most business owners. Some of them good, some average and some were terrible. I like to give praise whenever praise has been earned. The eight page brochure impressively won in two categories, corporate communications as well as the non-profit area. In addition, Ninedot won for its design of a business card for PICUS WoodRights. The new identity and business card quickly served to help PICUS secure significant new high-end building contracts. The business card was selected because it effectively communicates PICUS WoodRights mission, targets its vast clientele, and establishes a clear brand.
About Ninedot
The agency’s namesake was derived from the Ninedot puzzle. The puzzle challenge is to connect the dots by drawing four straight, continuous lines, and never lifting the pencil from the paper. The puzzle is easily solved, but only if you draw the lines outside of the confines of the square area defined by the nine dots themselves. Thus, the phrase “better thinking” was born as was the identity and foundation of this agency.

Data recently released from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court indicated that the number of bankruptcy filings has soared in Rhode Island. This news is not particularly surprising given the economic conditions in Rhode Island. McLaughlin & Quinn, LLC Partner Thomas P. Quinn was recently appointed as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee specifically because of the large number of bankruptcy cases being filed. In addition, Tom represents debtors who file personal and business bankruptcy. He continues to advise large numbers of new clients on the pros and cons of filing bankruptcy. In many cases, filing bankruptcy immediately is either not an option or not the best route to follow. However, in most of the cases that Tom sees, filing bankruptcy is the only option available to the debtor which allows them to get a fresh start.
